From its foundation in 1998 Corweld Plus Ltd. has been evolved into a leading position in the Hungarian welding industry, showing undiminished development ever since.
Its founders, Dr. Károly Bödök and Péter Zólyomi, considered it their task to establish a commercial company supported by engineering services by targeting primarily the main players in the Hungarian industry. By the 2010s, Corweld Plus Ltd. had become one of the leading companies in this field and was proud to know the leading companies of the Hungarian industry among its partners.

Corweld Plus Ltd. is the distributor and manufacturer of the Corweld® family of welding materials produced in cooperation with European welding material manufacturers. This means a complete range of welding materials for low and highly alloyed or corrosion-resistant steels and nickel alloys. It also represents KOBELCO Welding of Europe, a member company in the Netherlands of the KOBE STEEL Group, one of the world’s largest steel producers, and one of the largest suppliers of KOBE powder wires in Europe.
Since 2008, it has been representing the products of the world-famous Kemppi OY Finnish welding machine manufacturer. Kemppi has been producing inverter welding machines since 1977 and offers the most complete solution with arc welding TIG/MIG-MAG/MMA manual/automatic equipment and provides a complete machine-independent solution in welding management with WeldEye products.
For more than 20 years Corweld Plus has been a distributor of Speedglas products and 3M Speedglas products, automatic welding helmets and respiratory protection products in Hungary.
For 5 years on, it has worked specifically for nuclear power plant projects as a Hungarian partner with Inspector Systems Rainer Hitzel GmbH, which produces self-propelled test and machining pipe robots.
It has been working with Arc Machines Inc, a prominent developer and manufacturer of orbital automatic welding equipment, for several years.
